how Shera Seven is changing the dating game

Shera Seven is an icon, and if you don’t know who she is, she is a creator who shares relationship advice and is better known on TikTok as the “Sprinkle Sprinkle” lady.
Although her advice can sometimes be controversial, I believe her underlying message is one that all women should take into consideration: to be a little more selfish when it comes to dating and getting what you want. Everyone is watching out for their own self-interest, and you should too.
Shera teaches us to play the game like men, which is to approach dating in a much more logical rather than emotional way. As women, we are naturally more emotional and, therefore, can date and even marry someone we emotionally love. However, Shera offers a much more realistic perspective: dating only for love doesn’t pay the bills.
Date for Lifestyle
Shera encourages us to date for lifestyle and choose a partner based on their ability to fulfill that lifestyle. If you want someone who can provide a luxury lifestyle, then you should date someone who can provide a luxury lifestyle. If you want to date someone who can just provide a comfortable lifestyle, then date someone who can provide that. However, don’t settle for less than what you desire just because your feelings get in the way.
For more insight from Shera, check out her books for more dating or, as she refers to it, “financial” advice: 👇

Not All Men Hate The Sprinkle Sprinkle Revolution
Contrary to what some may think, not all men hate that women are raising their expectations. By women raising our standards, we inherently inspire men to become better and encourage them to have more to offer because we refuse to settle for less than what we deserve.
Those who take pride in providing and those who take pride in being a masculine man see the value of this movement. Those who hate the sprinkle sprinkle movement, we can assume, are those refusing to level up, and therefore are projecting their frustration because they understand they can no longer access you as a result.
Provider ≠ Dependent
Although there is a new wave of dating providers, by no means does it encourage women to fully depend on their partner.
This is something Shera also preaches: get his money, and use it to make your own. Use it to start your own business, or your own side hustle; invest it in a stream of income so that you spend his money and save yours for worst-case scenarios. Financially depending on anyone puts you in a very vulnerable situation.
Stop Entertaining Dusties
Too many of us choose our partners lightly; however, this is such a big decision because it influences you more than you realize.
Think of it this way: The person you choose as your partner will not only be your husband but also the father to your kids. He is responsible for the example that is set for your future son to become and the example for your future daughter when she is looking for a husband. Wanting the best for your future kids starts with wanting the best for yourself.
