It Girl Lessons from It Girls

how to be magnetic and make everyone obsessed

Hi Girlies,

Today, I wanted to play teacher, so let’s take a dive into some of our favorite “It Girls” and see what it is that makes everyone so obsessed with them.

By better understanding what makes them so magnetic, we can be inspired to adopt some of their values so that we can level up our lives together.

TheWizardLiz: Selfish people win at the end of the day.

If you know Liz’s upbringing, you may know that she grew up as a people pleaser. It wasn’t until she decided to be selfish, selfish with her time and her energy, that she completely changed her life.

Many people have a negative perspective about being selfish, but being selfish simply means prioritizing yourself. If you’re always out there prioritizing others, who will prioritize you?

You’re the one that ultimately influences your life the most. Nobody is coming to save you; no one is obligated to save you, especially if you don’t help yourself first. Be selfish enough to want to change your life, and then be selfish in making it happen.

Lori Harvey: You are the prize.

Lori Harvey said that the best dating advice she has ever gotten was from her dad, who said, “Remember that you are the prize.”

Many women forget that just by being a woman, you are the prize. Historically and evolutionarily, men have always been the hunters, and women have always been the prize. Allow yourself to be chased, and allow yourself to receive nice things, thoughtful gestures, and romantic chivalrous acts of kindness.

Don’t compromise on your values, your happiness, your peace, and don’t settle for less than what you know you deserve. Don’t be afraid to put yourself on a pedestal and walk away from a situation if it is no longer serving you.

Song Jia: Love yourself, and others will follow.

In the Korean reality dating show, Singles Inferno, where Jia gained a lot of popularity in general but also from the men in the reality show, you really see how she plays out “I don’t chase, I attract.”

Rather than using the time to chase the men on the show, she uses her energy to focus on herself, doing her makeup, her hair, taking naps, and just having fun building friendships with the other female contestants. She opens herself up to the men interested in her, and as a result, she is always attracting rather than chasing.

At the end of the day, the way we teach others how to treat us is by the way we treat ourselves. When we love ourselves, like Jia, everyone will follow.

Alexa Demie: The power of privacy.

Unlike many celebrities, there is something so mysterious about Alexa Demie. There is little to no information about her; Alexa has 22 posts on Instagram, her acting resume is minimal, and no one even really knows her real age. Yet, at the same time, she seems to be everywhere, as she is seen getting photographed with the Hadids, the Jenners, and Hailey Bieber.

Her mystique and low-key approach have actually made her even more alluring. If you tell everyone everything, there’s nothing more to learn about you. Privacy will not only give you peace, but it actually makes you more magnetic because you are mysterious. It makes people curious about you.

These are my main takeaways from these iconic people. I’ve learned a lot from them, and they have honestly changed my life in so many ways for the better. I’m sharing these lessons with you, hoping that it can do the same for you.

XoXo,
