How do I stay in the divine feminine when I am the breadwinner for my family and still want to attract a man in his divine masculine?

Everyone has both feminine and masculine energy, so don’t think that because you are in your masculine energy to provide for your family, you’re not feminine. 

It’s all about balance, you can be in your masculine energy when you are at work and getting things done to achieve goals, and then be in your feminine energy outside of that. 

Within your work environment, you can also look and be more feminine. Dress in soft colors, speak slower, ask for help, and allow yourself to receive help.

When I was working on a team, I often played the damsel in distress to attract masculine men that’ll provide me with solutions and help me get my work done.

Playing the damsel in distress doesn’t mean you are dumbing yourself down, it’s called being smart and acting stupid. You are able to receive help, and men in their masculine energy can feel like they are the hero. It’s a win win situation that you created- sounds genius to me.

As a breadwinner, often times, you may also be hyper independent. Which is understandable given the amount of responsibilities on your shoulder. However, just because you can do everything, doesn’t mean you should.

Make Him Invest In You

Let’s say you have two bags, one is a $20 bag you got from Amazon and another is a $20k bag from Chanel. Would you treat the two bags differently? Probably because I definitely would.

The psychology behind making a man spend on you so that he is invested in your and your relationship, is similar to the psychology behind how you treat you bags differently based on your investment. You are more careful with the one that required a bigger investment, and you’re less likely to easily replace it.

If a man is willing to drop $10k on bottle service to look cool at a club, but only takes you on buy one, get one free water dates…then that is a clear sign of his priorities and where you stand.

There is that saying that a way to a mans heart is through his wallet. Men work hard to make their money, and so if they are willing to spend their hard earned money on their partner, then it is a clear reflection to how much or how little he feels about her.

There is that saying that if you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far, go together. That is so true- there is only so much you can do alone.

If you truly want to live a softer life, the way to do it isn’t by trying to doing everything yourself. That’s how you tire yourself out and burn out. Learn to leverage other people’s network, experiences, knowledge, and skills so that you can get more done by doing less.

If you want to level up and learn how to deal with people, I highly recommend learning about human nature and psychology. It’ll help you better understand how people behave and why people behave a certain way, which allows you to navigate relationships a lot better.

How To Win Friends and Influence People is one of the most interesting books I read on this topic. I use the principals in this book to navigate personal and professional relationships, and it has definitely transformed my life.
